Well this was another surprise spring arrival – this time a new alpaca cria. Ric and I were driving out of the driveway when what do you know, we see another new arrival. One of the tricky things with the alpacas is that they have quite large abdomens and they’re all really woolly right now, so it’s pretty hard to tell when they’re pregnant or indeed when they’re really pregnant!
But here she is, a healthy little girl just in time for shearing in a couple of weeks!
