Oh my goodness it’s chilly here at the farm. Last night got down to 4 degrees C. That’s cool. Add to that some snow clouds and southerly breezes straight from the Alps and it’s almost too much to bear!
Thank goodness I have a new alpaca fleece beanie that my friend Ann’s mum made for me. Not only did she knit it by hand, she also spun the fleece from my favourite alpaca, Smudge. You won’t believe how warm it is – it’s toasty as can be and was a welcome relief yesterday when I was feeding out to the cows in the rain. Fantastic!
